Concept Snippet - Mumble Isolate

A game concept from once upon a time from the various daydreaming funks I have. As May closes by with each day, so has the nostalgic hold grow for me to revisit the half-baked idea.
One about an unnatural fog ferrying a bizarre ecosystem that twists and mutates whatever unfortunate creatures and people who were caught in the haze. Migrated onto an island resort during its off season. Its lingering presence allows the creatures within it to settle on the tropical retreat.
Inevitably transporting the few unlucky guests into its realm when caught during its initial arrival. Meeting the hostile inhabitants of the fog. Forcing them to find a way out before they are twisted by it's effects and trapped forever...
A simple story concept for adapting into an interactive medium. Focusing on helping one of the resort guests, Moya, escape the fog before it receeds and takes them away with it. Aided by one of the resort staff, and when communications with them is lost, finding themself looked after by a nervous wreck of an amnesiac. Believing they can remember who they areas they work to and help Moya escape.
Although nothing too definitive for what exactly the idea is outside of the little worldbuilding around the fog and the potential enemies faced. At least at the time of this post, it's retained in the noggins a little longer to flesh it out before it moves on to the next interesting thing. So, hope you enjoy this short post and fingers cross for anymore developments.
