Happy Halloween. The time has come for the grand Cadenza to send off the Spoopy months.

And trying to start and maintain a tradition to the best of my mush of an attention-deficiency-ridden-brain's abilities. I made a poster to cap off the month and the holiday.

Different from last year's poster since my current avatar is made to be the main focal point of the poster. And it's an attempt at an environmental piece, rather than the characters and decoration cut outs I have done so far. Figuring its high time for me to push out my comfort zone.

And what better than a Rave Party in the vain of Cult gatherings centering around a paganistic Deity/God. Elaborating on the details in my prior posts of month - my current interest of drawing horned, goat-like features helped greatly in drafting and going through with this piece.

Definitely inspired by The Great God Pan, conflated with some elements from the Greek God Pan (and mayhaps Dionysus?) and cult worships. Having had prior experienced drawing horns, and dulling my perfectionist standards by staying late to work on it, plays an amazing if sleep depriving factor to get it done.

- (And kind of burned me out near the end. Guilty and all for excluding my other mascot in the seasonal fun.)

With the fun of hiding some theme appropriate details in the piece, like using parts of Gloomy Sunday by Rezső Seress for the sheet music effects to help reinforce the madness inducing themes befitting Pan or the devil.

It is by far my favorite piece, even as I come to regain those accursed senses to add and polish it more. I am satisfied (... for now.) and came to really like the design for my little gremlin, who will sadly have to wear his purple fur at the strike of midnight heralding the new month.
